On April 20, 2016 in the senior Community building, there will be a class on individual peony planting in our area.  The speakers are Mr. and Mrs. Illingworth, who grow peonies commercially.  The class will last from  11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.  Coffee and treats will be served.

May 21, 2016 , will be a celebration of the completion of the new Senior Community Pavilion.  We want to thank Mr. James Martin and Salcha Boy Scout troop 35, especially Mason Berry, and Mr. Eric Lanser of Lanser Construction and Salcha Electric for all their hard work.  The Seniors will provide hamburgers and hot dogs.  Please bring a side dish or dessert and your beverage of choice.

 This is also a great day to celebrate the Salcha community veterans as it will be Armed Forces Day.  We are looking forward to showing off our new pavilion built for community use.  The picnic will last from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

July 18, 2016, there will be a picnic at Harding Lake for all current and former Salcha residents.  More information later.
